Artwork created by students from St. Regis Falls Central School District has been selected for display at two North Country art shows.

The Young Artists In Action (YAIA) Art Show is being held at the Downtown Artist Cellar in Malone, N.Y. on Wednesday, June 4 and Thursday, June 5. A closing reception will take place on June 5. This event is part of The Thrive Project, a special exhibit celebrating the creativity of primary and secondary students from local schools. The show features student artwork in a professional gallery setting, highlighting artistic expression and supporting children’s art experiences. Students may choose to donate their work to be sold for $20, with proceeds benefiting future youth art programs.

Four students were selected from each grade level, kindergarten through fifth grade. In total, 24 students from St. Regis Falls were chosen. Other participating schools include Malone, Brushton-Moira, Chateaugay, Salmon River, and St. Regis Mohawk.
