District Messages
End of The Year Letter from Superintendent, Mr. Seymour
Covid-19 Grading Policies 2020
Over the last several days, staff members and teachers have done an incredible job of working to meet the needs of our students. All student educational materials can be located on the District web-page and can be accessed easily with a cell phone. No additional materials are required for students to complete work. Any items that students have kept in their lockers will be kept within the school until the District is directed to reopen. Efforts to return needed medication within the building to parents of students will be completed today. Mental health counseling has and will continue to be provided to students remotely over the phone. Beginning on Monday, our school lunch program will provide free breakfast and lunch for all children aged 18 or younger within the District. Details on distribution of these meals will be provided to families on Friday. Thank you all for your extraordinary patience and understanding in the face of this unprecedented situation. Should you have any questions, please utilize the question and answer form located on the District web-page. Thank you all and take care. Timothy J. Seymour, Superintendent
Food Distribution/Free & Reduced Lunch Changes
On Monday, March 23, our incredibly dedicated and selfless staff will begin delivering meals to students throughout the District. Drop-offs of breakfast and lunch will take place from 11 am to 1 pm to all homes that have requested assistance. Meals will be delivered in two day increments, with deliveries occurring on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday of each week. Our staff will deliver meals to each home by placing a sealed bag outside each door and knocking. We ask that you wait at least 10 seconds before you open the door to retrieve items so that we may honor social distancing guidelines put in place to protect students, staff, and families. Should any changes occur regarding the distribution of meals to our students, we will update you immediately.
If you are in need of meals for students age 18 and under please email sshantie@stregiscsd.org or reach out to any staff member and we will ensure to pass the message along.

RE: Free and Reduced Application
Attached in this memo, please find the FREE & REDUCED LUNCH APPLICATION . You may apply for benefits any time during the school year. Also, if you are not eligible now, but during the school year become unemployed, have a decrease in household income, or an increase in family size you may request and complete an application at that time. We understand that now during CoVID-19 your home situations may have changed. If this is the case for your family, your student(s) may qualify for free or reduced lunch by completing the Free & Reduced Lunch application.
