  • 11/17/21 - Positive Case in the Junior/Senior High

School district leaders became aware of one individual who tested positive for COVID-19 in the Junior/Senior School. The district has contacted everyone known to have been in contact with the individual

School district leaders became aware of one individual who tested positive for COVID-19 in the Elementary School. The district has contacted everyone known to have been in contact with the individual.


  • 11/10/21 - Positive Case in the Junior/Senior High

School district leaders became aware of one individual who tested positive for COVID-19 in the Junior/Senior School. The district has contacted everyone known to have been in contact with the individual


  • 11/9/21 - Multiple Positive cases throughout the building

Today the school district became aware of 4 individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19 at St. Regis Falls CSD. The district has contacted everyone known to be in contact with the individuals.

Please keep in mind that privacy laws restrict us from confirming any identifiable information, and the district cannot identify anyone who has tested positive.

A student in our junior/senior high school was identified as being positive for COVID. Any students who were direct contacts have had their families contacted

A student in our junior/senior high school was identified as being positive for COVID. Any students who were direct contacts have had their families contacted.

  • 10/5/21 Positive case in Elementary school

Another student in our elementary school was identified as being positive for COVID. Any students who were direct contacts have had their families contacted.

  • 10/4/21 - Positive case in Elementary school

A second student in our elementary school was identified as being positive for COVID. Any students who were direct contacts have had their families contacted.

On Sunday, a student in our elementary school was identified as being positive for COVID. Any students who were direct contacts have had their families contacted.

  • 9/28/21 - Positive case in elementary school

A student in the elementary school has tested positive for COVID-19. We've reached out to the families of those students who have been in contact with the student who tested positive.

  • 9/27/21 - Student tests positive for COVID

One of our students tested positive for COVID-19. We are currently working with the health department to identify close contacts. If your child is identified as having contact, you have been contacted by someone from the school or public health.

  • 9/17/21 - COVID positive student identified

We received news that one of our students tested positive for COVID-19. We are currently working to identify close contacts.

Just like last year, we will work with the public health department. If your child is identified as having contact with this positive individual, you will be contacted by someone from the school or the public health department.

As COVID cases rise again, we ask you all to be vigilant about protecting your family against the virus.

Fall 2021 Reopening Plan

Masking

  • All staff, students, and visitors inside all school buildings and buses

    • Exceptions may be determined on an individual basis based on specific medical diagnoses

Physical Distancing

  • Classrooms and instructional areas - 3 feet where practical inside

    • The District will not exclude students from in-person learning to keep a minimum distance requirement in-person learning

Transportation

  • Students and staff will wear masks on buses

  • Physical distancing will be maintained to the greatest extent possible in order to maintain in-person instruction.

Cafeteria

  • 3 feet physical distancing where practical

  • Students will wear masks when not eating

COVID-19 Testing at School, Isolation, and Quarantine

  • As provided by county or state health department/BOCES Testing Program

Daily Screening

  • Completed at home

  • Students and staff who are ill should remain home

Instructional Model

  • The District will provide in-person instruction to all students

  • Exceptions to in-person instruction may be determined on an individual basis based upon specific student medical conditions

    • Facilitated through Torch Academy via FEH BOCES

Athletics, Extra Curricular Activities and After School Events

  • Outdoor sports do not require masking

  • Inside sports require masking

  • Spectators required to mask at all indoor events

  • Spectators - 3 feet physical distancing where practical

Cleaning and Safety Protocols

  • Commonly touched surfaces will be cleaned daily

Contact Tracing

  • Principals will have cohort lists available in case of a positive COVID case for contact tracing and potential quarantining

Vaccinations

  • All eligible students and staff are encouraged to be vaccinated
