The Attack of the "ions"

Recent economic news has many members of the St. Regis Falls community asking "what's happening?". This reporter has met with the finest minds here at St. Regis Falls to get you the answers.

  • Recession: according to our economic teacher Mr.LaVoie, we're in it.

  • Depression: according to Mr.LaVoie, we're going to avoid it.

  • Consolidation: this reporter spoke to Mr.Czadzeck. He thinks that the teachers, legislators, and Politian's should all sit down and talk before they make any major decisions about consolidating schools. He felt that some of the thing that were not taken into account in consolidating North Country schools is the cost of transportation and the amount of time students would spend on busses. This reporter feels that the expenses could out weigh the savings. Mr.LaVoie said, "I hope we don't see the construction of super 's schools like we did in the 70's that failed terribly."

This reporter will keep you up to date on the economic situation.

Snowflakes

by: Skylar

Snowflakes, snowflakes in the air,

You can see then anywhere.

In the winter or in the fall,

But in the summer you cant see them at all.

Snowflakes, snowflakes on the ground,

Get in bed safe and sound.

Snowflakes, snowflakes all around.

Listen to their pattering sound!

Snowflakes, here and snowflakes there.

Snowflakes, snowflakes everywhere!
